Author, dramatist, editor, publisher, and teacher. MFA from Columbia University. Creator of the Fractional Fiction series, the EleMenTs fantasy trilogy, and The Westborough Crusaders young adult trilogy. His newest book, written with Janna Sweenie, is Back to Willowbrook, the record of American disability rights won and reversed. His recent solo work is mainly cultural criticism and systems theory: Carceral Nation on the surveillance state, The Eighteen-Minute Lie on a fabricated statistic, and Synalosis on the geometry of the closing ring. Writing and publishing since 1975.

Janna Sweenie

Author & Educator

M.A. in Deafness Rehabilitation. Over 35 years teaching ASL at New York University. First Deaf graduate of CUNY Lehman College. Co-founder of Hardcore ASL and pioneer in Deaf education and culture. Her newest book, with David Boles, is Back to Willowbrook (2026), the record of disability rights in America.
