Ric Chetter
Ric Chetter has worked in audio production, broadcast television, and film for over thirty-five years. He began his career as a television news anchor, broadcasting from stations across the country before taking his voice into the freelance market. He has since performed in more than one hundred audiobooks and a long list of commercial productions, and he created e-learning software for the United States Navy.
These days Chetter hosts a morning radio show at Radio Memphis, an internet broadcaster heard worldwide. When he is not on the air, he records audiobooks and produces bands at Pirate Radio Studios in Memphis. The voice listeners hear in The Dark Matter People, Touching Everything, Holding Nothing, The Borrowed Saint, and Tomorrow as Tribute is the same voice that has carried news, music, and stories across decades of broadcast.
“I do not use Artificial Intelligence nor do I condone it for voice work or for the creation of a book. It just doesn’t look or sound right, among many other issues.”
